did you hear something?

so the other day i was sitting at my desk working on a report while listening to my iPod.

i had a tickle in my throat, so i coughed.

the force of the cough caused me to fart.

now, because i had my iPod blasting away in my ears, i could only sit and wonder if the cough drowned out the fart, or if the fart was loud enough to cut through the cough.

it's one of those things that for as long as i shall live, i will never know.
